What to Expect at Mt Eden Chiropractic

You will immediately feel at home the moment you walk in the door.

If you’ve ever gone to a social event where you didn’t know anyone, you know how uncomfortable that can make you feel.  Our goal is to eliminate every shred of apprehension and make you feel at home.

Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!

The more you understand who we are, what we do and why we do it, the better results you’ll enjoy. It’s as simple as that.

So, check us out here. Poke around. Get to know us. Then make an appointment so we can get to know you! Call us at either one of our locations - Mt. Eden or Pukekohe .

  • Your First Visit . To find out if we can help you, we ask questions and listen.

  • Consultation . We’ll report what we found and answer all your questions.

  • Examination . Our examination is based upon what we discover during the evaluation of your health history.

Dr. Kelly Asks some important questions of interest to Mt Eden residents - Chiropractor Mt Eden Dr. Kelly Asks...

Do nerves actually get pinched?
Chiropractors recognise two types of nerve disorders involved in subluxation. The least common is a pinched nerve that diminishes nerve supply to an affected organ or tissue. More common is the irritated nerve (facilitative lesion) which overexcites nerve communications to an affected organ or tissue. Chiropractic care has been shown to help with both types.
Why are chiropractors wary of the germ theory?
Louis Pasteur originated the idea that germs caused disease. Yet, on his deathbed he recanted, declaring, "It's not the seed, but the soil." Meaning, it's not the germ that causes disease, but the condition of the body that allows the germ to thrive. Chiropractic care in our Mt Eden office is designed to bolster your resistance so germs don't see you as a good host.
